Meet Your New

Personal Fitness Trainer & Wellness Coach

Hi, I’m Alaine

Growing up in Columbus as a part of an athletic family, Alaine completed 7 years of dance and was a 3-sport athlete in high school competing in volleyball, basketball, and track & field. In college, she earned a split scholarship to compete in both volleyball and track and field at Bowling Green State University, graduating with a degree in Sport Management, Sport Director emphasis. The coaching bug landed her back at her alma mater as the graduate assistant and then assistant volleyball coach while she worked on her master’s degree(s) in education: Physical Education, Exercise Science and Motor Performance.

Recently retired, Alaine taught in the Findlay City Schools in health and physical education for 31 years. She ran after school sport programs for students and coached high school volleyball and middle school track as well as owned and operated Northwest Volleyball Camps, Inc. where she was head clinician for 10 years.

Alaine has a fervent desire to learn about and incorporate proven healthy living strategies into her lifestyle. Becoming certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, LLC. as a Personal Trainer, Wellness and Nutrition Coach is a great fit!

When she isn’t training clients, her interests include mindful meditation and raised bed vegetable gardening following organic practices. She loves to workout, hike, bike, jog, scuba dive, ski, fish and enjoys boating and travel especially in northern lower Michigan. A big sports fan, her favorites teams are Ohio State football, Ohio State basketball, Detroit Tigers, New York Liberty and the Connecticut Sun.
